Whaw, she looks very good and has she made any progress and what are her biggest achievements/successes? Is she nervous about playing against boys for example?
Chess is for Girls – And They’re Thriving

Hello! She is making great progress, and no, she is not nervous about playing with boys at all. When you play a game, you are competing against the pieces and your opponent's king, not the player. If you were my student, I would help you with that.
If possible what's her full name and from what country does she come?
Are there more beautiful pictures of her?

This is a reminder to every one.

You're right about you're saying here but you know that there are always boys who think they can easy win against girls. Or maybe it's the other way around that a boys are distracted by her beauty? Then she has an advantage by playing against them.
Chess is for Girls – And They’re Thriving!
Many times over the years, students and others have asked me:
“Is chess really for girls? Why don’t more girls play?”
Let me tell you—I’ve personally coached over 500 girls in my career. Most of them, I’m certain, will one day pass the love of chess to their children. To me, that’s already a win.
Of course, my biggest success story was Poornima
Menon, who became the youngest Woman FIDE Master in Ireland at just 13 years old. But honestly, each of my students is a champion in her own way.
Right now, I’m coaching five wonderful girls and ladies from the USA, and I’m truly inspired by their commitment, discipline, and passion. Watching their progress makes me deeply proud.
A few days ago, Dayah reached out to start working with me—and she left me speechless. As a coach, I track my students' activity daily, and I noticed something remarkable:
👉 She completed 245 puzzles in just one day.
Now, you might think, “Well, maybe she has a lot of free time.”
Wrong.
Dayah is a highly professional, married woman with a demanding full-time job. She finds time for her career, her husband, and her chess training.
Still not impressed? Let me add this—
She’s also a contortionist and performer who stays in incredible shape, exercising and training her body just like she trains her mind.
So I ask again:
What’s our excuse?
Well done, Dayah. You make me proud to be your coach.
Chess is for everyone. Let’s support and encourage more girls to play.
