Chess Personality - “The Professional”

I came across this 20 question quiz (developed by Chess.com) that helps you figure out your chess personality and what Openings might be good for you to learn. My personality fit was “The Professional” and it said “Recommended Openings: White - Nimzo-Indian, English Black - French Defense (Winawer) and Sicilian Defense.”

What I don’t understand is the recommendation for the Nimzo-Indian as an opening for white? I thought it was the Nimzo-Indian “defense” that you can play as black against white’s d4 opening. Can someone explain this? Thanks!

The Nimzo is indeed an opening for black.

A defense is also an opening, but then when playing as black instead of white
