I’m new on board. Can you solve me some questions?

1. How can I know my rating?

2. I’m new. Can I play a tournament with ‘Open’ rating?

3. I registered on a daily chess tournament but How do I know when does the first game start?

Hi and welcome. You will start with a provisional rating which in your stats. looks like it is 400. The rating changes are large for your first few games as the system attempts to find your true rating, then it settles down, so you might get some big rises or falls to start with. My guess is you can enter a tournament with a provisional rating, so a U1000 tournament for example. I'm not sure what happens if your rating goes over 1000 during the tournament, it might be fine as the rating is an entry criteria not an exit criteria 😁.

There should be a tournement start date and the games will automatically appear when it starts. You might also get a message. I've only entered one Daily tournament which was last spring. Hopefully someone with more experience will pop up and correct me if I'm wrong.
