Daily tactics once you hit 1700

I personally haven't noticed that at 1700-level tactics. However, 1700 is a few hundred points just above your chess.com rating. With chess.com tactics, it is common for them to be inflated a few hundred points from your chess.com rating. My prediction is that 1700 just seems harder for you because that is the next level you are pushing for. You'll get there soon and then a different level will feel that way - maybe 1800 or 2000 level next
There also might be something objectively correct with your assessment (although I haven't noticed this for tactics specifically) because I find that in rated chess games (not tactics) about 1600-2000 level is where players start tackling more positional concepts. It is very likely that 1700 puzzles are tougher for you because that is the range where chess.com starts implementing more positional themes into the puzzles.
Whatever the reason is: good luck and have fun with the puzzles; you touching this new wall just means you are improving and it is only a matter of time before you break through it
sorry. my fat fingers and a small phone. as I was saying...I've noticed at the 1600ish rating threats start to appear more as the first move or a forcing move. below this level its normally a sequence of captures and checks. I find threats harder to find as I'm normally looking at candidates based on captures and checks.
