No, but there's no way it will ever go that low! The lowest my rating has been in the last 5 years is 1145. Has yours ever been as low as 600?

No! My least rating was 685. Two years before.

It's a luxury to not be concerned with the rating. Just a small benefit of not being a pro. At first, it did bother me to see my rating plummet when I decided to try playing live opponents online. Now, I don't mind. I love to play chess and when someone else enjoys playing against me, I love it even more! What I feel matters most is that the player is enjoying the game.
