FAQ for new members?

Reading this forum as a new member I see there are some contentious subjects regarding differing opinions of proper player etiquette.  My default when a daily game ends, regardless of winning or losing, is to say thank you for the game and perhaps something positive.  I don't expect - or necessarily want - to begin a conversation with my opponent after each game, but if there were something relevant or interesting re: the game I'd be open to having one.

It would be very helpful if there were a FAQ page which addresses the conventions, taboos, and expectations of players on this site.  I really hate the idea of having to navigate through a minefield of unexpected consequences and fragile feelings.  I just want to play some Chess and improve my game.

Perhaps such a list/post already exists and I haven't found it.  Suggestions?  Thank you, cheers, Jack

There seems to be a consensus that saying "gg" after a game is often taken as sarcastic.
