I blundered my queen at move 28 I thought it was a free pawn but it was not. Still won the game though.
I think that was probably my biggest mistake. I need to improve on board awareness.

It says move 47 is a blunder but I don't know why. Looks perfectly legit to me. Is that just a bug in the software?
Just a small tip: The Damiano defence isn't a very good opening, because after nxe5, and the pawn takes back, queen h5 check, and if you block with the pawn, you lose the rook to queen takes E5 check. But, if the king moves, it's forced mate in a few moves.
If book learning not fot for you, then the two best things are tactics and that analysis tool. Just every single time the computer says ”blunder” you should try to undestand why. Also, you could benefit from a gameplan of sorts, so if no books then consider youtube videos.

Qf7+ forks the king and the rook

Thank you. I didn't see that.
My board awareness sucks. I guess I'll just have to keep practicing.
For me is good to take a pause for theory and for exercises. After some of training the game is going better 😃 https://t.me/elo_raiser
Did over 100 puzzles today. I'm doing better at the puzzles than I am against the bots.
I tried learning about openings but they never turn out the same way for me as they do in the video. I feel like I'm just missing something completely.
I can beat Coach Dante who is rated 1200 but can't beat Hans who is rated 1000

I had 0 blunders so that's good I guess
*move 31 was brilliant. My first one. I spent the most time on that move trying to figure out how to take his pieces

not really a blunder though, because even with the queen off the board you were still winning due to an extra 3 points of material that you had

I finally beat him after like 10 tries. I know I'm terrible but I would like some feedback on how to get better. Do I just keep playing lots of games against the next bot?
Maybe I should read a book or something, or do those chess lessons? I hate book learning though so I'll probably just keep getting thrashed by the bots.
Also why does it keep lowering the ELO in the results? After this match it said the bots ELO was 150 and my ELO was 300. Did I only win because the bot went soft on me?
