Blunders/Mistakes/Missed Wins not matching up with my Analysis report

On the missed wins. I have found that if the engine finds a 3 x repetition of the position (so a draw) which it rates as best for both sides it counts that as a missed win. You have to play out the engines moves to spot it. It wont show up as M4 in the analysis for example. I cant remember the exact circumstances in my game, but I was the lower rated player and my opponent was going to lose a piece if they didn't play for the draw (this was the computer line not what happened in the actual game).

Sorry, and the point is that it can say you have a missed win but if you click though the moves looking for a missed mate it is not possible to spot it.

Here's an example where both played ok until about move 8 then the blunder fest begins around move 12/13.

Some "inaccuracies" are really mistakes

Some "mistakes" are "inaccuracies" and some are "blunders"

At least 1 "blunder" was a big mistake and (iirc) the next move was basically returning the favor (mistake) but was called an inaccuracy.

The problem is from the depth the report is run at. Maybe you can run it at higher depth (idk). What I do know is you can look at each move with more depth. It takes a good bit of time on a phone or older computer, but if you want to make real sense of a good analysis, you can't analyze an entire game in a few seconds.

In the opening and especially in closed positions, you'll need a depth close to 40 for best lines. Later in the game, 32-36 may be needed unless the moves are very forcing.

The bigger issue is that I spent way more time on this game than it took to play it. The time control is too fast or you wouldn't be making so many mistakes.

game analysis is garbage. i can intentionally miss a win and even that is not counted.

Try playing against it and see if you still think it's garbage

Because checkmate......why would you intentionally miss a win?
