Focus on the priciples of openings. Try to keep your pawns connected, move all your minor peices once and castle as soon as its safe to do so.
After that you are in the middle game. Try to get to the middle game consistantly without losing more pieces than your opponent.
One you can do that, learning to recognize middle game tactics will take you further. That comes with experience and puzzles.

Play longer games, 10 minute per side is not enough to think about the position. 15|10 is minimum, if you can, play even longer games.
You could be putting just too much pressure on yourself. Try taking a couple of days away from chess and then try again with fresh eyes and mind. Good luck to you.

You also may forget the idea Online stuff alone is enough to get the job done. You need books and study on the board if you want anything serious to happen. Only a few people who's mind is so shaped, can progress with just playing and solving puzzles.

Hey, so I've been playing chess for over a month now. Been doing puzzles daily and analyzing the few games I play every day.
I still feel like I'm not really improving/ getting worse? Any of you have advice on my learning technique or are my standards just too high? I don't want to plateau at 650...
