How am I doing?

Just after a quick review of my performance and current state of play.

Game 1.

I play as Black here and this is my most recent loss.  During the game I did feel like I started to lose the initiative around move 20 (which seems to be a common theme for me).

Game 2.

I play as Black here and this is my most recent rated win.  Again I felt I lost the initiative and was in trouble with the Queen, Knight and Rook hovering close to my King. Only my opponent neglecting an escape square for his King saved it for me. 

Game 3.

Once again I play Black. This is my first win against the xQc bot rated 1200.  To be honest I found playing this to be easier than the 800 - 900 opponents I'm facing. 

Some say I need to work on my openings, that they are "not that strong." On the other hand some have said my openings are solid and it's more tactics and spotting threats (both for and against me) that are my main concern. 

Any opinions welcome.
