To the OP: the evaluation shows a lead for black when black plays solid: 7. Bxd7 Nxb7 8. 0-0 Be7 (you have no lead in developement (one aktive piece and castling against two developed pieces) and black has a strong center already acitvated while you lost a center pawn against a bishops pawn.... I would prefere being black here.
