"i've been stuck to 600-700 range" ++ A rating of 700 is a sign of frequent blunders.
Always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it.
Hang no pieces, hang no pawns. Sit on your hands.
"some opening that is should know and play"
++ Do not worry about openings.
You do not win or lose because of the opening, but because of tactical errors.
Simplest and best is to defend 1 e4 e5 and 1 d4 d5 as black and to open 1 e4 as white.
"an endgame tactic"
++ Start practicing the 5 basic checkmates: KQ vs. K, KR vs. K, KBB vs. K, KBN vs. K, KNN vs. KP. Learn first 3 men endgames like KP vs. K, then 4 men like KQ vs. KP, KQ vs. KR, KR vs. KP, KR vs. KN.
hello guys,
i'm new to forums in any sort of online community and this is my first time ever i'm posting something online.
for quite some time, i've been stuck to 600-700 range. earlier when i was stuck below 300 elo, gothamchess videos helped me a lot but now i do not have the time.
i would love a few advices and suggestions for me. i would love to know if there's some opening that is should know and play or an endgame tactic.
here are a few games i played i consider them my best as of now (not that i've won 'em all):
