How to get your rating to 1000?

Read some chess books.   then put it to use by playing games !

1000 is still novice level

Analalyze your game and check out where you make blunders the most.........and maybe you can try a new and more active opening with balanced attack and defense. It helped me reaching 1050 in Blitz and 964 in 10 min Rapid. Maybe it will help you too.

I've tried Alekhine's defense with black and Van geet opening and  Nimzowitsch defense with white. Are they good openings?

They can be helpful, if you have enough backup to seal every weak spot.......

Eh. I usually just say tactics, tactics, tactics, tactics, tactics, and openings, in about that ratio of importance. Do as many puzzles as you can, SLOWLY, and then watch youtubers like @gothamchess to gain opening knowledge. At the U800 level you can lose a game up a queen. Maybe practice against the Max engine in the odds drills, when you are up a queen.

Nimzowitsch defense isn't with white. Alekhine's can be good if you really know the theory like @B1ZMARK does, but not generally for beginners. Van Geet is not good. Nimzowitsch is ok. What I get from this is that you're playing your knights out first, which isn't ideal in most cases. The only cases you play the knight first is this

you should learn what the opening principles are and incorporate them into your play. and to reach 1000 you need to do a lot of tactics training (puzzles) and just board awareness so you don't blunder stuff

Tactics, and careful observations to make sure you aren't hanging pieces. Also, rapid is the best if you want to improve your chess skills, not just flagging.

Also, FYI, 461 isn't really intermediate-ish.
