Yes, it can only be done on PC (I think) and must be a friendly match. In the chat box, there is an option which says [add 15 sec to your opponent's time]. just spam into the appropriate time!!!

The most straightforward way is to both start at 5 minutes and wait for your timer to run down to 2 minutes. It does waste 3 minutes though, but you can prepare a strategy in that time if you haven't already!
