To get to 1000 rapid, you have to do at least 30 tactic exercises every day. They have to be simple, like mate in 1 or 2, forks and etc.

Besides, practice the end games:

• King and Queen x King
• King and Rook x King

These endgames are very easy and basic. They have to become automatic for you.

Skewers pins 2, 3, 4 move checkmates, forks good positioning of queen an king. Ability to stop hanging pieces.. or you can just play alot of games at once.. but at minimum atleast 2 move check mates or tactics required. All of it might be needed to get past 800+ elo into the 900s to get 1000 elo you will need some more practice or luck.. Cause it must be done with speed!! in rapid. An good sight of the whole board prediction of where your opponent is maybe necessary for defense but sly feints will almost guarantee a win yet I'm still around this elo. Blundering will drop you back in to 900s easily. Just play alot an 1100+ might come quick but you may get stuck with bad habits so review your games. If you don't look deep expect to stay perfectly stuck by planned 800 elo forks an pins. 800 elo is about where Hard begins for a normal game Id say. 700+ elo player. Hey you will stomp on most of those newbies an players yet someone with talent may hit 1400 elo in a few months just with frequent cautious play.
