I can't reach 800, 900,1500,2000...... All of these things are said untill you realise what your opponents can see that you can't. Board vision and tactics training 👍 you 100 percent can and will 600
I can't reach 600 in rapid. Its too hard
@1
Play 15|10 rapid and use all your time before move 30 and finish on increment.
Always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it.
That little mental discipline is enough to reach 1500.

I find that it's usually because both players make similar mistakes and therefore it becomes a bit 50-50 who wins..thats why you keep climbing and then falling.

Don't play for rating but play for progress. If you are going to focus on rating all the time you will eventually get scared to press the play button. It's all about improving your chess. Rating gains are a side effect.

Jokes aside, you absolutely need to do more tactics. I would recommend Lichess or chesstempo for this just because chess.com has that time bonus that makes you feel the urge to go fast, and in turn, lose rating.
cant reach 600 at rapid???? how can u NOT reach 600 in rapid/??? it takes effort to be that bad at chess.
suffice to say its easier to become a grandmaster than to not be able to reach 600 rating at chess
especially given that
600 is the starting rating
so either you basically opened a golf book when you thought it was achess manual
or you are actually referring to cheese, not chess

*goes into rowan atkinson's indian waiter mode*
thank you rajiv go get out!
You actually start at 800, but that just proves your point
of course; it was just a means of illustration, that repartee.

I ThiNK you Should Watch @GothamChess Youtube
Definitely, his YouTube channel has helped me load's
In the opening, your jobs are to fight for your share of the center, get your pieces developed, and get your king to safety. In your games, after 10 moves you have usually made 6 or more pawn pushes, developed almost none of your minor pieces, and your king is in the center. Naturally, you are subject to attack
In the middle game, you don't take the few seconds to notice when one of your pieces is attacked more times than it is defended, so you regularly lose material
You generally lose with more than half your time still unused
Of course you can. If you are used to play 10 min games. Make it slower 15+10 or 30min. Know different types of opening positions. Not deep just know the types of openings like in the book of Chess Openings for Beginners. Do not worry too much about practicing tactics. Just a bit tactics a day is fine. And know some basic endgames. Focus on playing slower time controls. One to three 30 min game a day will help. Develop intuition first on not to hang pieces and how to slowly dominate each game. That's what I did when I was your level at least.
ah, a GM i percieve.
help me analyse this game please?

thanks

IDK about that. chess.com ratings are inflated by about 300 elo or so.
There has been three seperate occasions where I reached 500-550 rating, then dropped back to 400s, and back to 500-550
The players in the higher 500 range are just too pro for me
