Thanks. I just wish some of my plans would have come together when we played, LOL.

Nice, that want our game right. Lesson there imo, is people typically place too much importance on their queen and fall apart when they lose her. Almost always, if it's a queen for queen, I'll take it. A lot will also quit if you get there queen especially if you still have your queen.

Look at the position after white's 11. Qxe5 move. Black has a chance to win a piece. Can you spot the solution?

Kg4. Attack on the queen with a discovered attack on the white knight?

You mean Ng4 (K means King), but yes! Good job!
The thing to note is that black has such an overwhelming lead in development at that point that some winning combination is almost sure to be there. And you had such a good position because you followed opening principles while your opponent was just floundering around. The most important thing now is to practice tactics (via solving puzzles) to become sharper. If you can spot that tactical blow during the game, you can crush these guys Paul Morphy style and your rating will increase dramatically.
I've been playing for about 3 weeks maybe. I'm only rated around 780 or so. Today, I finally saw about 5 moves ahead and got a checkmate on my opponent. Here's how my thought process worked.
On move 12, it occurred to me that my bishop on d5 was looking at h2. So I played Bb5 to give me room to get my queen in front of the d5 bishop. Next I played c6 to give room for the next move, Bb8. Next, it was Qd6. I took a calculated risk that he wouldn't trade queens at the end. Fortunately, my opponent didn't see what I was doing, so he never made any effort to stop me.
I'm aware that I got very lucky. I'm sure a more skilled opponent would have seen me coming from a mile away. And I know I made a ton of errors. But for my skill level, I feel very happy with myself right now.
I was playing Black, by the way.
