I was so tilted..I missed a checkmate

in fact, i thought you were white for a moment and that black had, somehow fumbled a complete victory, and you just missed a swindled checkmate
you would not have been in the position you had if you did not play opening well

dont over look this game, but look how you could have really executed more precisely around move 15

Hi @daxypoo, I can see the exchange, that works..is this right?
The way I see that is:
BxNe2, Qxe2
Rxe2+, Kxe2
Qe7+, Kd1
Bb3#

you can bring in your knight which is also hitting e2 and your queen is there in case you need her
just from a quick glance white would have to move his rook (to protect for a bishop retreat to challenge your bishop)
white’s entire army is paralyzed so bring more pieces to the party
(the straight up exchange of initial pin will be a queen and knight for rook and bishop- totally winning but you can even do better)
when you have an opportunity to “pull off a morphy”esque game then go for it!

Whoa! Amazing insight @daxypoo, thank you so much! 🙏🏼 I think that's another part of chess that I need to develop and bring more pieces to the party to join in the action. Going to watch a Morphy game out of inspiration now!
