Im an egirl new to chess owo any tips.

Initially your focus with chess is to keep it fun and donāt worry about losing, itāll happen a lot and weāve all been there. View losses as live instruction and review the game afterwards to figure out the mistakes made and avoid repeating them. Openings- develop the E or D pawn to the center and put your pieces towards the center, always ensuring everything is safe and/or defended. Every move ask yourself whatās being threatened. Castle early to avoid getting your king stuck in the middle of the board. Each day solve a few chess puzzles, play a game or two, I recommend Daily or if Live, 15|10. Think about your moves, take your time. Iād avoid bots, play humans. Low level bots do not play human type ideas. Have fun with it, ask questions, maybe find a few players whoāll play games with you and discuss chess strategies. Iām always up for playing unrated games and analyzing the games afterwards with others and others likely will do similar. Donāt be shy, get in and have fun with the game!

Hereās some ideas to help you get better. Ā
-I recommend two books for you: ā50 Poison Piecesā Ā and āQueen For A Day: The Girlās Guide To Chess Mastery.āĀ Both books are available on Amazon.com.Ā Both books are endorsed by chess masters! Ā
-If you are serious about chess, I highly recommend you hiring a chess coach to help you. Ā
-Also consider all checks and captures on your side and also your opponentās side. Always as, āIf I move here, where is my opponent going to move?ā. Do this for every single move! Ā
-Play with a slow time control, such as G/30 so you have plenty of time to think before every move.Ā
