I think the basic rule of thumb is, you should learn how to play well slow first, before you can play well fast.

You need to learn how to walk, before you run, as the saying goes.

Here

1. don't spend more than 3 seconds on a move

2. premove recaptures

3. try to set up attacks that confuse your opponent and force them to use more time

4. play the opening quickly and learn how to defend against scholar's mate (many people try to checkmate in 4 moves at that level)

You should practice playing 3+0 before switching to bullet from Rapid. After you feel like you're ready to play fast, you can start playing bullet.

That's what worked for me, I actually started with bullet and then went to blitz so I could get used to playing faster

a lot of people play really fast and try to win on time but i would say it is better(especially at your level) to to take a bit more time on moves but exploit your opponents weaknesses. It is okay to take some moves that take 5 seconds if you beat your opponent in 20 moves

I am a 1900 and experienced at it, so I can say that the main thing to be careful for bullet is to think fast. Thinking fast doesn't mean moving your king in 2 squares and making 5 moves in a second. We (1800+ rateds) can calculate at least 5 moves in only one second. If our opponent can think at least 7 in a second, he will win, because his brain is faster.

The bullet is not that easy , you must train your skills in rapid first then blitz then bullet

We the beginners fumble when the opponent starts arbitrary shooting aka moving. You think this lecture works at that place? hahaha
