Indians

I mean no disrespect, and I’m not good at chess, but most of the time I play an Indian they play what looks to be incredibly erratic, sometimes blundering the queen and then they make 6-8 moves and I’m mated. I’m 400 ELO and so are they. I check their previous games and they seem to have normal wins and losses but their beginner/middle rating is usually like 50% and endings 85-90%. Do they learn to play crazy? Do they cheat on some moves? I don’t seem to get it.

I've looked a few of the games you are describing. From both sides it is a play expected of people this rating. For instance in the last one, you just blundered a queen, a piece, the opponent did some bad stuff, you just did more. Another game I looked, you had multiple chances to win material, a bad play from both and then you lost in the end.

The way I see it, you play way too fast. In both those games, it was a 10|0 game and you were lost within the first minute, or you had a win within the first minute but you just played some other move and kept playing fast.

There will be some cheaters, but they have nothing to do with nations, it is just that there are many Indians playing chess, and a good amount of site's userbase are people from India.

Ok, there is much to be said about the game, but let's just concentrate on move 8 for white. Just look at the easy win you have here on move 8. It is not even the best move, but you could have taken the bishop on f8 with check, and then recapture on g2. That is piece up. Engine likes taking the rook even more, but taking the bishop is easy to see because check means that you have the time to recapture on g2. Instead you just blitz out recapture on g2 and you are even.
This is just one move capture, so you can absolutely see that and improve upon it.

I’ve had varied experiences. Half of the Indians I’ve played are VERY good players, and they’re usually very knowledgeable in openings. The other half will play strangely the whole game, blunder some piece or other, and then stall for the rest of the game until their clock ticks down to 0. It’s very annoying 😓

Not my game, but you are correct. I didn't even watch his game till the end. Concentrated to that easy gain of the piece at the start he could've done. He was winning, though it is understandable to miss it in his shoes.

I'm not very good at chess.

I lose more or less 50% of my games. These games are against people from foreign countries.

These are just the FACTS. Verifiable facts!!

I've also noticed a pattern... when I lose, if I don't get overwhelemed in the opening it's always in the middle game or the end game. Suspicious, eh?
