Is chess boring for beginer
1200 games in, absolutely a beginner and get as much enjoyment watching other games as playing my own. So much fun I've only recently restricted my playing a little to learn and improve. Such beauty in games at times.

If anything, it’s boring for the masters who have played thousands upon thousands of games of chess, not the beginners who are just starting out.

I learnt chess during Christmas and new year 2021-2022. My grandson taught me.
I am absolutely in love with Chess, lots to learn from every game. A long way to go to reach a 1200 rating in Rapid and blitz but I hope to achieve this before Christmas 2022, so I can show my Grandson how much I have learnt.
Yes, you get destroyed by people with slightly more game knowledge
But only slightly
No, because its fun to learn how to play and you get used to it fast so its really fun especially learning how the pieces move

Send me a freind request please...I just want to be friends with more and more chess lovers across the globe.

Is it
in my opinion? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Chess is a VAST game where EVERYONE can improve and have fun! Knowing how to have fun while improving at chess is an amazing combo that I wish everyone knew how to do!

If you find it boring, find something else to try. Life is way too short to waste it on a board game that you don’t enjoy. No harm, no foul.

I think it's exactly the opposite! When you're starting out, or playing at a beginner level, a lot of surprising things will happen. Top players know exactly what to expect out of a chess position and are hunting for tiny edges, while beginners' games swing back and forth depending on what they see.
