Can you teach me chess?
Is it normal that Blitz games are so hard?

yeah maybe, I just keep playing. prolly will get better soon.

Yes, it is normal. Blitz (and Bullet) chess is mostly about pattern recognition and experience because with so little time to "think" in the game, it greatly helps if the player already knows what things to play based on patterns or can navigate the position almost instantly. This kind of pattern recognition usually takes years of serious chess study and playing and that is just become competent at! This is partly why most chess coaches discourage most players (and especially beginner to intermediate level players) from playing speed chess.
If you want to improve your overall chess ability, usually it is better to play longer time controls and give yourself time to think during the game so you can do things like do a blunder check before you move or scan to see what pieces, pawns and squares are weak for both sides.
For improvement, some people will claim a particular length of time or longer should ONLY be played. I'm not so sure I agree and how much time I believe varies for many reasons, but generally speaking, I wouldn't play anything shorter than 10 minute time control if you are learning or just starting out.
Everyone is different though. A friend of mine used to only play 30 min time control and one of the best decisions they feel they've ever made for their chess was switching to 60 min time control games. Another friend of mine mostly plays 10 min games and occasionally 15/10 time control. There is no right or wrong, but what you typically want to avoid is playing a shorter time control that conditions your mind into moving faster, neglecting calculation and makes you feel "rushed" when playing.

100%
Im a fan of the slow time controls, specially for learning. Ive seen alot of inexperienced play speed chess. Some laugh it off and enjoy, and others go blank the moment the clock is pressed and its their turn. Everyone is going to be different.
it really comes down to the individual. Can you play a game and learn from it at fast time controls or not? Some of the games ive learnt the most from were easily the slower time controls though, because the more effort you put into looking at the position the more you will discover
I played Chess now and then since I‘m very young. Quite recently I started to play more often again. Now I have a few tactics down and know most of the basics. My rating for Rapid games is comfortably over 700. Now is it normal to have a Blitz rating around 200 at my level? I get smoked 90% of the games and the opponents are moving pieces hella fast. Just feels like they are much higher Elo than me. Also my Friends have Blitz ratings above 500-600 and when I play against them I easily win. How is this possible?
