Is there a beginner guide about why people move their bishops up five squares in early game?

the phone computer rates 3. nf3 qxg2 4. rg1 as +3 to 4 for white with I think the idea of taking back your pawn in the center and bringing the knight closer to f6?

The idea is to force the Black Queen to h3 where it can be forked by the Knight after the sacrifice Bxf7+

On the opening database here no games are shown for this move. Surely an advantage if you know how to handle it (ie. retreat to g6)
