Can anyone take a look at my last game? ignoring the mistakes that led to the position, I ended up with a king and 2 pawns Vs king, I just couldn't figure out how to finish it and ended up in a draw

Ah I see, I was pushing both pawns at the same time, ignoring one would give me a way to force his king out?

Here's one win. I made it a puzzle.

For the puzzle below play only with the king and 'b' pawn. Ignore your 'a' pawn until the very end.

And yeah using the c file is a faster mate but I don't care enough to change it

How did you puzzle with partial moves instead of the entire thing?

The two most important things to realize  in almost all King and two pawns versus king endings are 1)You only need one queen to win! And 2) Look out for stalemate! Especially when one of your pawns is a rook pawn. The simplest way to win is often to give up one pawn in order to queen the other.  Here's how your game should have gone

You can make a puzzle the same way you make a game... in other words you can start or stop it at any point.

You have the full PGN of the game but the puzzle starts in the middle. I wasn't aware this was possible. I've always had the entire thing be the puzzle. As for games, I've never tried a partial game in there before, lol. Always had the whole thing. How do these partial starts work?

Oh that.

You can right click a move and choose "set begin" and the diagram or puzzle will start there.

That is very good to know. I remember seeing those options when I'd pull up the "comment after" button, but didn't really follow what they meant until now. Thank you!
