Perhaps you may try to solve them instead of just making some random move.

In your last two attempts you made some move in 8 seconds and in 9 seconds, and both were wrong. As it turns out, both puzzles were mate-in-1.

I am sure you can find mate-in-1.

I got stuck at 2022 and recently reset my puzzle points to start over.

1. Sometimes we need to go back to basics to do better. and 2.) What was happening to me is if you do too many puzzles your mind loses focus and you become board and that is when you start making mistakes and get angry at yourself and that causes more mistakes.

remember to take brakes and if you start to miss three or four in a row that is a sign of fatigue so you should probably step away from puzzles for a while.

Puzzles are meant to improve your gameplay , they help you in positions where some strategical thinking is required . Don't stress over losing puzzle points , instead try playing more games and concentrate on them as they will help you develop in other areas as well which will also help you get better in puzzles .

Play games, not puzzles.

I've definitely gotten "puzzle tilt" and lost 100-200 hard-won points in a sitting. Important thing is to slow down and come back fresh, ready to analyze at the peak of my skill. If I want a fast "game" of puzzles I do puzzle rush instead.

Take a break from puzzles and play some casual games. This can be a fun way to apply what you've learned in a more dynamic setting.

Puzzle points fluctuate even more than game ratings, so don't worry about the exact numbers too much.

It sounds to me like you are forcing yourself to keep solving tactics puzzles, despite not wanting to. Perhaps you've heard how useful puzzles can be (and that is mostly true), but it isn't good to over-push yourself to the point of burnout and making puzzle solving a grueling process.

I actually recommend taking a break from puzzles and working on another element of chess you find more fun. Maybe study some basic checkmates, or some theoretical endgames, or even try experimenting with a new opening.

It is all chess, so why not work on something you like more and then return to puzzles once you feel motivated for it once again? happy.png

Take care of your body first. There might be underlying health issues that causes your boredom. Do a lot of checklist on what to do to become healthy and do these things first before playing a game. This will boost significantly your confidence because you will be filled with happy hormones that will make you have a clear and peaceful mind. Your life is more profound than you might expected and must be respected because it is beautiful to live in this world.
