Looking for improvement

Hello,
I am a beginner at chess and I’m looking to improve my game. Any experienced players out there? How did I perform with this game? I was playing white pieces. It was player vs computer at level 3.

Lots of mistakes on both sides! But that's okay at this level. I would recommend trying to avoid blundering pieces and letting your pieces hang and that will increase your rating quite some bit! I also recommend not playing computers as they don't really simulate what a normal person would play at your level. Play real people and see where that gets you!

Move 9 is the story of your chess career. You moved your queen to a square that attacks the rook. The computer does not defend his rook and you don’t take the rook. Ask yourself why you moved your queen to d5 but my guess is that you read somewhere that a queen in the Center of the board is a powerful positional move. Have a plan. Having pieces in theoretically good positions is not a plan
