I don’t look up moves during the 24hr games I think it’s cheating..... do people look up moves during it or how do you feel about it I like to have ongoing games but it’s frustrating to think someone is looking up moves before their turn.

1 minute chess is the only pure chess

Looking up openings and researching is the whole point of daily chess. As long as you don't use the engine.

I expect any fairly serious opponent to use all available resources in daily games, that includes using the analysis board and looking the opening database. I will do the same. Most of my games are out of the database within 10 or so moves, so I don't consider it to be an issue. Besides, if you want to play out of the database, you can drift away from the mainlines with your choices of opening. Doing so you can get games out of the book in less than 5-6 moves in some cases.

I do that by watching chess games

Are you allowed to recreate your current game say in a computer programme that allows you to play through a couple of moves?  It saves you doing it with pieces and a board?
