Making Notes on Games

Chess.com has so many great features -- most of which I don't know how to use LOL.

I'm wondering... is there any way to make notes on a game I'm reviewing or on a game I'm playing in "Practice" mode?

For me, it would be helpful to see what I was thinking so that I can (hopefully) figure out where my thinking is off-track. I'd also like to make notes about questions I have in game review. Is this possible?

There is a mode on the online game in lessons called classroom supposedly where you meet coaches to help you with your game..... I've never met a coach there so I use the board to play games against myself... Haven't tried taking back moves yet but I think you should be able to..... 🙄

Well, on daily games when you click analyze there should be a thing to click for notes. I dont think its in rapid, blitz or bullet games though.

Thanks. I hadn't found that feature yet. I will look for it.

If you're playing a bot where time isn't any issue, or if you're playing daily chess, you can right click on the notation (or select and hover if on a mobile device) and select "Add Comment After" or "Add Comment Before", then type whatever you wish and it'll be saved in the notation.  It might even work on live, but you probably don't want to waste time on that in a live game.

The only Practice Mode I know is in puzzles. Are you talking about making notes on games in your archive that you are reviewing?

I just opened up one of your recent games and the "Comments" link was available to me.

I made a comment.

It looks like it is saved with your game.

Why not go "...Old School..." ? Get a writing pad and put pen to paper ?
