the kasparov one is ok but nothing more than you can get from other online (and free) resources
it is always nice to listen to champions tell some stories and he does go over some material that was helpful but you reach a part in the class where he plays a simul and it is all downhill from there
i didnt do any of the workbook exercises or anything- just watched the videos (you might even be able to see them on youtube)
i would not spend any money on them again; for chess training there is better resources but if you have some disposable income you might try it out
fwiw i did think the kasparov series actually did teach me a couple of things at least (but many of the master classesnever get anywhere; they just talk and are pretty useless- live and learn)
i was interested in the hans zimmer course and it was ok to listen to him go on and on but i was hoping he would sort of start from scratch and build a score or theme or something from there
the armin van buren course at least did that; started from scratch and developed a track (his class was probably the best one i looked at)
the deadmau5 was lame
the cooking ones were lame
and i didnt have interest in anything else (mostly writing and acting)
the serena williams was a waste of time
the bottom line is that many of these masters may be good in their field but they are crappy teachers (teaching is a skill/talent in and of itself)
Has anyone tried Kasparov's Masterclass?

Seems interesting.
