I wish players would chat. They may be frightened.

Although it is not a general rule, some of the most extremely introverted people I have ever met were chess players. When we come to the site we just want to play the game - we didn't sign up for that conversation stuff. Besides, chatting costs you time on the clock and takes your concentration off the game. That means you lose rating points unnecessarily, and that is not what we want, is it?

I now understand why I must not insult the chessplayer. It is fun but the chessplayer does not enjoy being insulted like I do. He is what you call, introvert. He will block and ban. And later when he is in bed he will be thinking about the evil chessplayer that insult him. It will be difficult to sleep. He will want revenges but cannot reach through the computer monitor to strangle me.

@PlayingFromArizona Is too bad that happened in your first game, most of the people here are friendly, but there is a small amount of trolls and users without manners. Just like the rest of the online world, or even real life.

Keep playing to have fun with chess and I'm sure you'll meet great people here.
