Four Knights is good and safe for white and not at all easy for black.

That gambits a pawn but in this variation black gets to have so much fun attacking the white king on the soon to be open e-file after putting a knight in the middle and if white castles we always have a6 b5 to kick the white bishop away from c4 . In fact in many positions that pawn can become a liability for white or just block the white bishop on c4 . There are even some cool mating lines with the c8 bishop and queen which have won me games as early as move 10 or 11 . There are even sacrificial ideas as well to try to mate the white king or in some positions win the queen.
