Hey does anyone know about that when a pawn reaches the other side of the board it can turn Into a queen,bishop ,knight or rook?

yes, if ur pawn reach to the other,it can turn into queen,bishop, knight or room. Mostly people would like to choose queen, cuz this is the most powerful chess.

It's called pawn promotion....you can promote the pawn to any piece other than a King.

Pawns can only go sideways it taking pieces. It can go forward on it’s own and can’t go backwards.

A1 =Q means the a1 pawn turned into a queen .

A1=r means the a1 pawn turned into a rook
