Hey how are you? In this position is black to move, I tried to attack white bishop since i thought it was not protected by white´s knight. Is the knight pinned to the king? why i coudn´t take the white bishop with my king? Thank you!

The knight on e4 is protecting the bishop on f6, taking the bishop with your king would put yourself in check so not allowed.

Regardless of whether his knight is pinned, the instant you take the bishop your king is in check. At that moment, you're in check and he is not.

Think of it like this way you can’t take the bishop because of the knight even if the knight is pinned think of it like this way just like 4 player chess if the king gets captured the pieces can’t move so if you took the bishop even if the knight couldn’t move it would take your king and your bishop can’t take the king because the king can’t give any orders if it’s dead I hope that’s an easy way to understand

If you take his Bishop, he takes your King, you take his King, he takes your Rook, you take his Knight, and White wins - he's a Knight up at least. Obvious.

As absurd as it sounds that was one of the strategies used by Chessmaster on the original Nintendo Gameboy, during play the game would occasionally take it's own king, effectively making it impossible for you to win the game and the best you could do is take all their pieces and have it end in a stalemate
