How are the points determined in Puzzles? I feel like just about any correct answer only nets me 5-10 points but any wrong answer takes away 10-15 points, regardless of time. Also, I bounce between 850-1000 rating on puzzles, yet I’m often given puzzles rated 1600-2000. Is this “standard procedure”?
Some of the “solutions” don’t always make sense, however. I had one that was “wrong” and I’m fairly certain it was a glitch, but maybe not. I made all the correct moves to promote a pawn, but when I promoted to a Queen it was “wrong” and thus lost me points. The “correct” promotion (according to the solution) was to promote to a Rook. Now what could a Rook do that a Queen could not? Under what circumstance would it be “wrong” to promote to a Queen but correct to promote to a Rook?

Stalemate situations are one example to come to mind.
