puzzles and timer

Hi guys. I’ve been practicing the puzzles and I’m wondering if the time you take to solve the puzzles affects how many points you gain or lose? Ie do you get more points if you solve it in less time or doesn’t it matter and it’s just there so you can see how long it’s taking? Thx.

Yes the timer affects your point total.   The faster you solve, the more points you get.  Pretty sure that as long as you get it right though, no matter how long it takes, you won't lose points.  You can go Custom if you don't want the time pressure.

Thanks for that. 👍🏻

Yes it does affect. I think that you shouldn't rush with solution and take your time however. Because if you just guess  you will not really learn much.

I love how the  intended time is like 17 seconds and I'm usually at like 4 minutes.

That is completely fine as long as you figure out the solution or at least think as best as you can before you input the answer.
