Hi Everyone,
If I sign up for a 30 minutes for a Swiss quad tournament. Does that mean that I have to play four games one right after the other in the space of a few hours?
Short answer: yes.
Long answer: Swiss tournaments means that rounds start at the same time. So for example - if you finish your first game in 15 minutes, then chances are that other games have yet to finish. In this situation, you will have a short break until all the other games end and Round 2 begins. However, if you are the last game to finish, then Round 2 would start almost immediately.
Keep in mind that you can withdraw from tournaments between rounds with no penalty.
