It's fun to try, so I would say yes! Learn as many things as you can - including the 4 move checkmate. There's a good chance that you will catch another beginner out and get your own nice miniature. However, be aware that as your opponent's rating increases it won't work as often and you'll probably get worse positions as your queen gets pushed around the board. Good luck
questions about the moves

Based on the games you've played you may want to focus more on catching blunders and hanging pieces. You won't get very far using the 4 move-mates. If you like traps you may want to check out the Fried-Liver or traxxler. They're good for demonstrating how to setup attacks. But don't rely on them.

So you win a game in four moves. Then what? You certainly would not have learned anything or how to improve.

learning is learning. The four move checkmate teaches attacking the weak f7-square and at the very least, defending the queen from being captured as it returns to a safe square should the attack fail. Vital skills, if you ask me.
"if it would be a good idea to try and do the 4 move win?"
++ no, bringing your queen out on move 2 is bad. If black defends correctly black wins time by attacking your queen
