I wanted to ask how important are chess endgames for players under 2000 elo. I have problems with converting endgames. I also want to create winning positions out of equal endgames. My idea is to train 45 minutes per day theoretical endgames (100 endgames you must know). The other 90 minutes per day I want to look at practical endgames (chess strategy, keres practical endgames and practical endgame play by Flear).
Therefore I wanted to ask if this would help me to reach elo 2000.
