#19 - The last seven minutes or so of the video were useful to me, when he discusses endgames and the best ways to study chess (my endgame technique needs improvement). Things he covered earlier are known to me or a little too basic though they might be useful to others.

The guy who runs the Youtube Chess Vibes tends to put out valuable material for learners. Including people at 1000 or less.

Broadly speaking, trade if you are ahead in material. If you are behind it is not a good idea, and probably not a good idea if the material is more or less even. Trading tends to simplify the game - but who benefits more - you or your opponent?
