Thank you Ben for the all the sessions!! Having multiple sessions with Ben over the course of few months really really helped me in improving my game. He went through strategy concepts, openings, tactics, my own OTB tournament games and work on my weaknesses. If a beginner or intermediate player is looking for a coach, Ben is your guy for sure!

Ben is a very kind and very instructful. He learned a lot of thing. About how to think, analyse position, candidate moves, in between moves. He learned me openings that fit my playstyle and is always happy to anwer my questions. He's very passionate about the success of his students. If you really want to improve and want to put the offorts, dont think about it, ben is the one you need ! I never regretted my coach choice and i will never regret it !  

My experience working with Ben was awesome and he helped me make a lot of big decision which let to many achievements of mine including placing 2nd in Hungarian national championship and winning the national team championship multiple times. To be entirely honest i was not the best student but listening to Ben was never boring and i truly learnt a lot from him.

Thank you Michael for the review. Working with you has always been a pleasure. You are an enthusiastic player and such a hard worker. I know it's hard sometimes to progress and sometimes you have your doubts as well but be confident, it will pay off!

You were one of my brightest Hungarian students. You were such a talented boy. We accomplished so much together! You were a good student but you were also very open to the world (which is, of course, a beautiful thing). I am really happy for you and for your success. I hope one day you return to the chess scene and you'll crush it again!

Ben is the greatest chess teacher. He helped me improving a lot on chess and he taught me a lot of knowledge that I don't know. He is one of the best teacher. Highly recommended if you are looking for a chess teacher. He is your choice.

I have been working with Ben for over a year now. In that time, I have improved my chess.com rating over 600. 

Although I'm new in the world of chess, I do have experience as a student of other disciplines and coach myself. Ben is a very talented and patient teacher, not to mention very flexible with my crazy schedule. He is also knows what to teach based on comprenhension, understanding, and appetite of the student.

We started my lessons with middle game and candidate moves, calculations (what/when to calculate and how), specifics about each piece, and we are now starting with some opening theory. We also analyze my games and discuss what went well and what went wrong. He prepares well and is able to show examples of each lesson while adapting to my style of play, which is an excellent coaching skill.

I intend on continuing working with him, and I would highly recommend him. If you are thinking about getting some help to improve your game or are looking for a coach no matter your rating, hit him up! 

Ben is very patient and generous with his time and knowledge. I enjoy learning to train like a professional chess player, even if I'm not one yet.

My repertoire is taking shape thanks to Ben's help, and I feel more confident going into games. Ben is experienced enough not to let me neglect the middlegame and endgame either,

What I especially like is the emphasis Ben places on your thought process. Deepening my understanding of chess helps when opponents get creative early in the game.

No doubt I will continue to test Ben's patience by trying to shake things up a little too much, but it's Ben's fault for being such a good coach. He has made me a much stronger player, and even if my favorite exchange sac isn't sound, I feel I can at least hold on for a draw.

Thank you, Ben, for giving me the confidence to believe I can work towards getting a title. I look forward to many more enjoyable lessons with you.

Man, what can I say about Ben that hasn't already been said? Phenomenal coach who has been patient and flexible every step of the way. Ben helped reinforce the basics I was lacking and built-up confidence in my chess. I have changed the way I approach each game and each move. Ben does a great job assessing you as a student, and tailoring his lessons to your needs, or what you feel needs improvement. The best part? None of his lessons were ever boring, I was always looking forward to our weekly sessions. Whether showing off my improvement or to highlight an embarrassing blunder, Ben helped find improvement every time. Cannot recommend working with Ben enough.
