Solo Chess

yes, it helps you become quicker at noticing patterns and paths of pieces, which should help with puzzles and with games. At least that is what I think its purpose is.

Solo chess? You mean like guessing the moves to games played by masters? That will definitely help improve your game!

Ah i see. Not sure if that does a whole lot in terms of improvement. A better board vision perhaps?
Solo chess, as I think helps you to understand simplification.
Ability to look at series of trades, and predict the result is important skill.
So as I think solo chess is for simplification.

i think by playing solo chess it helps you learn mistakes you make by falling for your own mistakes and it helps you plan out attacks better as you know they are coming and will most likely defend them i find it does help a lot

I think it's beginner level training because you see the direct connections and learn to focus on a far-future square instead of short-term progress.
But no, I don't see much real appeal or point to it other than that. Or maybe the levels are just too easy because I crashed through until the end including crazy mode in just a few minutes.
Time for another new chess variant. I have a few, including Banshee Chess which allows two knights to occupy the same square. But upon capture, you do lose both. It leads to novel tactics while staying close to classical chess. It also opens up new lines, for example Nf3-Nd2-Ndf3-Ne5-Ng5 (or Nd4).
My most recent variant is Mickey Mouse Chess which is for the youngsters (similar to Mickey Mouse Class for kids learning to ski). But it's also for those wanting to train advanced endgame patterns without having to go through an opening and middlegame phase. It starts with this board setup, otherwise rules are the same:
I have also invented Wizard Chess (not Wizard's Chess from Harry Potter), which introduces a new fairy piece to take the game to a higher level of complexity. It makes excellent training for those wanting to achieve a formal level of chess. You can download the 3D printable wizard piece here, and user manual with rules is included: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/games-toys/board-games/wizard-chess-piece
