why do i lose the game speed chess 0ne mintue when i have more pieces than my opponent or have if tied better pieces and i still lose

another four games in row where i had more pieces than my opponent  and lost all four is there a trick iam missing ??? iam new to this game

You’re losing your games on time. These are timed games, if you run out of time during the game your opponent is given the best result he can receive from the board position.

then who decides who wins and loses  if your in a better position to win   what is that mean  if you have more of the opponents pieces how is that mean you lose when the time runs out  i just don't understand finding this game hard to get around in thinking

Timed chess means you’re playing all your moves within that allotted amount of time. If you run out of time you can’t continue the game, therefore your opponent gets the best result they could have in that position when your time ran out. This means if they have the ability to checkmate, they earn a win, if they can’t then they earn a draw.

I really wonder if the opening poster noticed that there are separate clocks for both players. Probably not. although it is hard to imagine that either.

It does not matter who has more pieces. You can only win by checkmate or resignation or timeout.
