Haven’t played chess in about 10 years. I keep getting stalemate draws vs computer bots, even when they only have 1 or 2 pieces and I have much more. Thoughts?
if opponent has no legal moves but is not in check then it is a stalemate

Thank you. I think I’m trying to get multiple pieces set up for the checkmate but not keeping it in check.
