Is there an option to store an imported pgn-game?

little_ernie

Simply store in a text file , but with suffix .pgn instead of .txt  .

On my Windows systems I have hundreds of .pgn files containing tens of thousands of games.

I can read and modify them with a text editor , Notepad++ . My Universal Chess Interfaces easily

access them, list the games, display the moves, parse through the moves or analyze them.

I happen to use Shredder & Hiarcs, but any other UCI should handle .pgn files.

When I store pgn files I make the suffix .pgn.txt

and remove either .pgn or .txt before opening it, depending on whether I want to view the text or load the pgn in a viewer...

Thanks!

I mean: Store and retrieve them in chess.com!
