Please confirm if you can play the game.

I know I made a lot of mistakes. I was on autopilot when I moved the Bishop. I want to know if it's possible to continue it with that move or it is a blunder. I think I should have moved the Knight. I know the game is boring, so please bear with me as a beginner.

In reference to the lost points being restored, here is a screenshot of the message I received. Kindly confirm if you can see the image.

It seems I am unable to upload a picture. I kept on pressing "upload file" but nothing happened. Anyways, it says that according to Fair Play Policy, they detected something that made the game unfair for me. They restored my points even though I lost. I wonder how does it work?

Again, please give advice on what I should have done with this kind of opening. Thank you and sorry for the long post.

Ok, so your points were refunded because you played a cheater. When you play a cheater, and chess.com finds out, they ban the cheater and refund points to everyone who lost against the cheater

Also, 8. d4 was not a good move, because it allowed black to play Qa5, winning the bishop. Also, after 11. Bxe5, you should recapture the bishop, and not take the knight.

You allowed your opponent to capture more and more pawns, and it just went downhill from there.

Just make sure you don't allow your opponent to take any of your pieces.

A cheater?!? I don't get it! I mean, I've read an article or two about athletes who cheated on tournaments but to do it here? What's the point? Do you earn money as you go up? Will you become famous? I don't think so, we are anonymous here.

Some people are just naturally bad and just get greedy.

I know quite a lot of people who have cheated, but changed their ways.

I guess the only reason people want to cheat is to get points.

But, yes, you faced a cheater.

You see that red sign next to kingpuure's username? That means he got banned for cheating.

Discussion about cheating isn't allowed on the forums, so we should stop.

I have no intention of violating forum rules. Thank you for pointing it out. Off topic question: why is it that I can't see your picture?

It's just an invisible profile picture, so it appears like that.
