I've just beaten the Trisha Bot playing a QGD as black. However this came after 30 straight losses playing the same (I was determined to try and improve). I think this win came as a result of an obvious blunder, but can people perhaps suggest better lines that I should try (note: I was looking at the analysis after every defeat, but still routinely got crushed - especially in the opening). Thanks.
The Slav Defence is also a good response to the Queens Gambit, and it comes with the bonus of not blocking the light squared bishop. You just play c6 instead of e6.
Play as white and after 1. e4 c5 2. b3, it plays d5 and goes into weird scandinavian style nonsense which isn't very good. Often gets its queen trapped
