Two local players in iPad app?

Hi, I’d want to use Chess.com iPad app for playing with a friend locally. I can’t find a way to do it. Any tips? Thanks.

I'm not sure about the app, but in the live panel there is something called the analysis board, you can use this to play locally.

However, you'll have to rotate the board yourself after every move by pressing the flip board button.

On the app, select the option to play against the computer, from there you can do some interesting things like make the computer play itself, or you can play against the computer, or you can just side line the computer and use the board between you and your friend 😉.

Does it have pass and play? The arduino app has it. For two people to play together on one device.

I'm not sure about pass and play, but the android app does rotate or flip the board automatically.

The new version of Chess.com on ipad seems to support it, but as far as i can tell you have to have internet. you go to play then there is an option for Pass and Play. I hope they fix this soon, as chess is a game many like to play when thy cant access the internet.

If you're on the iOS app, you can go to the "computer" section and click new game. Then click the computer symbol and it should switch to player vs player.
