22/22 is a good score already; normally I recommend people trying to learn notation to check out chess.com vision trainer, but since you've already found this, then I'll recommend:
- playing games and reading the notation after each move (or mentally saying the notation as you make the move) to get better at it
- reading a chess book (where notation will obviously give practice using it)
- watching a chess video or chess stream and trying to follow along with the moves
All in all, it is just a matter of practice and exposure. If you already can get 22/22 vision score, then perhaps just give it time as you gain experience and let the notation "sink in."
I was thinking the "vision" drill here on Chess.com is great, but I wish it would break it down into quadrants. Something that can build upon what's already mastered.
I've been doing the Vision exercise for about 2 weeks, daily, and I'm still stuck on 22/22 as a max on 30 mins no grid help.
Any thoughts? Programs? Ideas? Thanks!
