Hi. I'm doing the free courses. I think Smithys Opening Fundamentals is very good.
What are the best Chessable courses for a beginner in your opinion?
I personally liked chess.com lessons now I am 1410 and lessons are still very useful even in advanced section, so as a diamong member you can watch lessons here. I also think doing a lot of puzzles is going to help you (but you have to make them properly and make sure you understand them, I did not mean it as 100 puzzles a day), If you want to, you can try create your chess training plan I think: For example you can train 30 minutes a day. On Monday you will do 10-20 puzzles and you will make sure you understand them. Tuesday - trying to analyse your or some friend´s game (someone who is a bit higher so you can learn what for example higher rated oponents do). Wednesday learning opening principles. Thursday endings and so on... Also try to play 30 minutes or longer games so you can apply your knowledge that you learned from your lessons and analysis. And do not forget to learn to create plan in a game. It is better zo fail at plan than having no plan at al. It will just take time and you will learn correct plans for sure.
I forgot to mention that you can later on use someone else lessons, but this are selected often for masters and advanced.I hope it helps

You are welcome and sure. I am glad you are enjoying lessons here, I like them and I can tell you that you are going to enjoy lessons even for intermediate players, not only for beginners. Once after you finish lessons from chess.com, you can choose over there lessons made by titled players which I find very good!
Hi, I'm new here and I've gone through a few courses in Chessable and I need some recommendations. Thanks in advance.
